We really enjoyed the ambience of Gardenia Guesthouse , the great staff and lovely surrounding garden which was like a green oasis , especially after a hot trip to the shops and markets.
We have visited Bali many times and I must admit this was the most restful holiday we have experienced there. The food was great and we rarely ate elsewhere and the staff were most obliging to our quirky tastes; such as vinegar with my chips and no tomato sauce which I loathe !!

We will be back soon !

We have stayed at the Gardenia Guesthouse twice in the past year. The rooms are very clean, serviced each day and tidy. They are spacious and contained everything we needed - beds comfy, bathrooms huge, TV, Dvd player, fridge, safe in the wardrobe, linen and towels changed daily. We love sitting on the balcony in the peace and quiet of their beautiful gardens. The pool is small but great for a quick dip and cool off, and usually we had the pool to ourselves. We love that there are only seven rooms, so it is very peaceful and you soon get to know all the wonderful staff, who provide great service. Nothing is too much trouble and you really feel very welcome.
The cafe at the front serves wonderful food - the breakfast that is included in your room price is a great start to the day. We think the Gardenia has a lovely comfy atmosphere and are excited to be returning there again with some friends in October this year!
